Information/ Tips (Sumilon Sandbar Trip)
*If your plan is to visit the Sandbar only and do some snorkeling within the area, you can do it by renting a boat from Mainland Oslob.Sumilon Sandbar is open for public with P10 entrance fee.
*Sumilon Island has a private resort (BlueWaters Sumilon) that  offers day tour package for P1500 per person (with meal, boat transfers, access to their facilities and other activities within the island). For outsiders (like us), we are only allowed to visit the Sandbar and the Snorkeling Areas. For more information, You can visit their site here.
*Things to bring – underwater cameras, snorkel mask, fins, snacks and drinking water (Now you can bring your DSLR Cameras,Digicams and other Non-Waterproof stuff)
*Snorkeling Area - yes the water is clear, corals and other marine life are present but for me nothing beats Coron's Snorkeling Area (in Palawan Philippines.read it here
