Itinerary
Assembly time- 10 30pm at Victory Liner Caloocan.
ETD 11:55 pm ( 6-7 hrs travel time to Sta. Cruz
,Zambales.)
- At the Victory Liner ticket booth tell the
cashier that you’ll be getting off at Brgy. Bayto (near Petron station )so they
wont charged you the whole fare for Sta Cruz town proper. Book or buy your
tickets early ( we bought ours at 5:00 pm . Thank God we have a friend who's residing
nearby the Victory Liner Caloocan terminal),a lot of chance passengers were on
line that night (Friday) some of them opted to stand at least 2 hrs to get a
seat.
- We arrived 5:30 am in Sta Cruz, unfortunately
the Talipapa ( to buy ice , etc) opens
at 8am. .Waited for our trike ( courtesy of our contact Tatay Fred),had our
breakfast at some random carinderia along the way. Went to Tatay’s Fred house
,our contact boatman, . 30 mins boat
ride to Hermana Menor a.k.a as Makatira Island. There were 2 groups when we
arrived ,by 11 am they both left the island so we had the beach for ourselves
( plus the caretakers).Another group arrived, stayed for a short while because it's just part of their Island hopping tour including the famous Potipot Island.
- We left Hermana Menor at 3:30 PM as Tatay Fred advised (mas late, mas harsh ang alon- ).Freshen up at Tatay Fred’s House .Tricycle
ride to Santa Cruz Town proper. We left Victory Liner in Santa Cruz at 530pm( may
derecho ng Cubao (7pm pa) and sayang yung 1/1/2 hr na waiting time so we decided
to ride a non/ac bus to Olongapo , but we arrived at 10 pm in Olongapo ,parang
jeep, sakay ,baba and dinadaanan lahat ng Town Proper ng bawat bayan unlike sa 7pm na derecho
Manila . Arrived in Olongapo and took the last trip to Manila (buti nakaabot).
