Traveling to Seoul ( Solo - Day 1 Itinerary )

 

Gyeongbokgung Palace

Day 0 - Traveling to Seoul, South Korea ( Preparation -Solo Trip ) 

Day 1- Traveling to Seoul, South Korea ( Day 1- Downtown Seoul)

Day 2- Traveling to Seoul, South Korea ( Nami Island Tour) 

Day 3- Traveling to Seoul, South Korea ( Other DIY Tours) 

Day 1. 

-Freshen up. Breakfast at Dunkin Donuts.

Destination 1,2,-From my lodge, walked to Admiral Yi Sunin Statue, King Sejong Statue (one of the Seoul’s major landmarks, Gyeongbokgung palace.

- watched their changing of guards.

-entrance fee, guide map (all in multilingual), photo op the palace,

-tried their traditional Korean Hanbok “ Korean Clothing).

-from  Gyeongbokgung palace palace –walked along these streets ( Sajik-ro,Yulgok-ro to reach  my 2nd destination Changgyeongggung palace. (yosi break with locals along Sajik -Ro, walked pass  the famous Insadong Street  and then reached   Changgyeongggung palace.

Destination 3-At Changgyeongggung palace.

- entrance fee,photo ops,  did my gwiyomi video..

 -Lunch along Yulgok-ro(near my 4th  destination)- tried authentic Korean food  bimbimbap ( with rice)

-after lunch I lost going to my 4th destination ( went to a “similar  Recto ambiance in PH , Thank God to this local female vendor for the right direction!”).



- Finally at my 4th destination (BukchOn Village)-this where you can find the traditional Korean houses  (it’s a residential area so keep your voice low ). I noticed every tour spots has an info booth nearby (tourism office)

-snacks at Baskin Robbins ( 1st time to try it) no Baskin Robbins  in PH ( 2013)

-train ride to my 5th Destination( Namsan Seoul Tower), train to Hoehyeon-dong   station and walked to jumpoff point to Tower ( 2 options – by foot,ascending to Tower will take you to 30-45 mins accdg to a local English speaking I met near the start of ascending stairs but I opted the 2nd option by cable car , bought rice crispies from a vendor ( elderly lady- “naawa kase ako sa kanya”).

-Cable car to N.Tower.

At my 5th Destination  Namsan Tower- famous for their love locks, teddy bear museum and observatory.

-No entrance fee If you just want to loiter around the love locks and seeing the view of  seoul.

For single like me, it hurts ..haha

-Teddy Bear + Observatory has entrance Fee.- “ I forgot how  much!”

-First time to try the Corn Hotdog

-Already 6 pm ,Namsan  Tower via cable car again (“while waiting for the cable car a guy with his gf asked me if I took more pictures? To my surprised I said yes( This guy is so handsome like Mikael Diaz look a like )no more conversation after dumating na kase yung cable car at nagkagulo na! .”

From Hoehyeon-dong  station underground , walked to Myeongdong  area.

Dinner at Mcdonalds myeongdong ( tried their bulgogi burger)

Back to my lodge ( by  subway )
