Itinerary for the Day: Try Jimmy’s Satti Haus- Pasonanca Park- Buy Pasalubongs at Canelar Barter-Lunch at Alavars-Free Time –Airport

-Checked out early and left our Stuffs at Viva Baggage Counter. Walked going to Pilar Street  for Jimmy’s Satti Haus ( a must try)

After our Spicy Breakfast, we hired a tricycle going to Pasonanca Park (P120- Negotiated and Thank You Schyne, my officemate who is a Chavacano). Or you can take a Jeepney going to Pasonanca Park (Terminal Location: ZCPM- Zamboanga City Public Market)

*A reminder from our Tricycle Driver that “Be Aware and Beware" (Snatchers riding in a Motorcycle) within this area.

      Next stop will be the Freedom Park, 2KM from Pasonanca Park, a Jeepney Driver offered to bring us to Freedom Park and Back to Pueblo for (P150- Negotiated by Schyne again). Or you can look for a Habal-Habal Ride (P30-P50)

5th stop: Canelar Barter ( Most of the products are from Malaysia..so it’s Imported!.. And It’s CHEAP)

6th stop: Lunch at Alavars (Main Branch- Tetuan)
                -Last night Curachas were sold out, we never stopped our quest for this ( a Must Try Food in Zamboanga)- the Curacha…
What is a Curacha? It’s a Deep Sea Crab. For me it looks like an Alien, a CrabSter (Crab and Lobster)hehe. But the taste… Oh lalalala, especially with Alavar Sauce. Solved! Success! In Alavars, their food is quite expensive. A Curacha order will range from P800- P1200 depends on the grams. Here’s our Lunch (P1600/4= 400)

Back to our Lodge, Free time, waiting for our 6:55PM flight to Manila, My 2 friends strolled the Pueblo for the last time, my officemate went to her home packed her stuff, and I went to Shrine of Our Lady of  Pilar and  visited the National Museum( Free Entrance, Just Present any ID) at Fort Pilar and Paseo del Mar.

First time to see a real Vintas

Tricycle to Airport (P50). Checked In. Terminal Fee (P40).Airport has no WIFI. First time to Experience (Power Interruption inside the Airport – “Patay –Sindi” for  5 Mins).Goodbye Zamboanga by 6:55PM!
