3^rd Time in Davao City

Accommodation: Sampaguita Tourist Inn (New one- Budget Friendly)

Main  Objective: Tour our First Timer Friends and Experience Water Tubing

Since it’s my 3^rd time and  I went already to the most visited tourist spots in Davao City last 2011. I made an itinerary, What and Where to go Aside from the Davao City Nightlife.

Here’s our Itinerary

Day I : City Tour (Downtown)

Day II: Water Tubing (Calinan, Davao City)- Our First Time

Day III: Samal Island

Day IV: Free Time (Laidback/Pasalubong Time)

Day I: City Tour Downtown

-Lunch at GreenHaus Buffet(Eat all You can for Less) near Apo View Hotel
-Walked to San Pedro Street
-Downtown City Tour ( Quezon Park.City Hall.Rizal Park.San Pedro Church)

-Back to Hotel. Siesta Time
-Visited the People’s Park by Night.Dinner at Pards.Nightlife (Classified).Sleep

Day II: Water Tubing at Calinan, Davao City ( First Timers)

1st Stop: Water Tubing

-Water Tubing by Layak Paanod (Check their Site- Rates and Packages Here)
-Made Reservations Yesterday. Instructed us to go to Calinan (a district of Davao City)
-Van Ride to Calinan (P35 per person/Terminal Location:Bangkerohan Public Market)

-Arrived at Calinan. (Layak Paanod Shop).Sign Waiver.Left our Valuable Stuffs at the shop
-From Calinan, a 45min jeepney travel to Talomo River (Starting Point). Assembly.Briefing and Off we Go!

What to Wear and  to Bring

Wear Leggings. Apply Sunblock . Bring your Waterproof Camera. Bottled Water

3 Hours Water Tubing at Talomo River with 4 Guides.Normal River Flow.Rainy Season is the best time for this activity.

Chooo Chooo Train

 

Another extreme watersports I tried, last year was our Water Rafting in CDO.

The part I really loved was when we did this Choo-Choo Train Style (“Walang Bibitaw!”)

2nd Stop: Philippine Eagle Center

Philippine Eagle Center (My 2^nd time) in Calinan

-Hired Tricycle from Downtown Calinan to PEC (15min travel/ P100)

PEC is inside the Davao Water District (Entrance (Water District):P5, (Eagle Center):P50)

All we want is to see PAG-ASA and other Philippine Eagles.

*We don't have good pictures because it rained during our visit. For me since it's my 2nd visit I don't have any regrets, I already have good pictures of PAG-ASA and etc. You can check my 1st and 2nd visit in Davao City here.
