Solo Backpack Ilocos Norte:Southbound Tour

continuation of Day II : Southbound Tour ( Bangui Wind Mill, Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, Cape Bojeador Lighthouse)

Here is my Itinerary

   Day VI:Ilocos Norte: Laoag

...from our last stop which is Pagudpud, Blue Lagoon to be exact, now we're heading Southbound for the continuation of my tour. But it was already lunch time, so I asked Manong Joseph where can we dine and eat? After 15-20 mins, he parked to a carinderia along the Highway in Bangui.Of course we ordered the Ilocano's Favorite, Pinakbet and Bagnet. After 30 mins,Solve! Burp! Back to Tour Proper

1st Stop: Bangui Wind Mills, Bangui Ilocos Norte
Info: 20 Wind Mills, No Entrance fee, a lot of Souvenir Shops and Sari-Sari stores

2nd Stop: Kapurpurawan Rock Formation,Burgos Ilocos Norte

Info: Because of Exploitation discovered by ABS-CBN (Vandals by other Tourists),they're not allowing tourist to go the Main Kapurpurawan Rock Formation  unless you have a permit from the Ilocos Norte Government. I hate those Tourists!
-Not advisable to walk from the Highway( I remembered Marcos of http://ambot-ah.com/.His long walk from the Hi-Way to KRF and also i looked for the "Intersection" where stopped for a couple of minutes and decide which is the right way? :-P) Sari-sari stores are available.Ride-a- Horse to KRF (P50.00).No Entrance Fee.There's a good trail now and a new viewing deck.

3rd stop: Cape Bojeador Lighthouse (Burgos Lighthouse)
Info: It is tolerable if you walk from the Main Highway, Souvenir shops and Stalls are available, accdg to Manong Joseph there is a caretaker  for this Lighthouse, but when we were there He is nowhere to be found. I still remember  DOT’s ad last 2006 featuring Regine’s Biyahe Na for this Lighthouse and Bangui Wind Mill. No Entrance Fee

End of my Southbound tour ( Covering the Big Three)
It was payment time, by the way tricycles in Pagudpud  are all calibrated that they will charge P600/3pax( North Tour-Kabigan Falls, Paraiso ni Anton, Agua Grande, Patapat Viaduct,Timmangtang Rock,Bantay Abot Cave,Dos Hermanos,Blue Lagoon), and another P600/3pax(South Tour-Bangui Wind Mills,Kapurpurawan Rock and Cape Bojeador Lighthouse). I learned it from my research  those expenses,so I haggled down to P1k for the whole tour to Manong Joseph and he agreed, but during the travel I observed that the distance of each tourist spots are far away from each other, especially the South one,Since Manong Joseph  being  polite(always call me Sir!),honest(looking for my stuff), helpful(carrying my bags) and sometimes my photographer(I taught him how to use a DSLR) throughout the tour, I made my decision to pay him (Tour- P1200). ( the price of being a Solo Traveler)
We parted ways and bid my Goodbye and Thank You to Manong Joseph Tango(09196058371) at a Waiting Shed along the Highway  near Burgos Lighthouse while waiting for a Bus going to Laoag.(Fare-P50.00)
Duration of Southbound Tour (1:00PM to 4:00PM)
Travel:  Burgos Lighthouse to Laoag( 4:00PM to 5:30PM)
