Day VI: Floating Market/ Bangkok Thailand
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
-Woke up early,checked out and left our things at Four Sons baggage area.
-Pick up by our Travel Agency for our Half Day Floating
Market Tour.
-Floating Market (Damnoen Saduak) at Ratchaburi Province (2 Hours
Away from Bangkok).
Duration: Half Day/ No Meals Included

-Just listen to your guides’ instructions and don’t remove
the color coded stickers given to you.
As I said, our Bangkok Tour was a Jampacked Tour
Back to Bangkok by 12 PM, we continued our Temple Tour
-Wat Praek /Grand Palace (Be aware and beware of touts and
some locals offering tours ,be your guide etc. They might overcharge you. Just
politely decline)
-For both sexes,wear appropriate clothing,above knee shorts etc are not allowed to enter.You have to fall in line just to rent a Sarong and it consumes time.Just a tip,Less hassle,Wear pants.
-Due to miscommunication,we parted ways,Two of my friends went inside and paid 400THB (that's expensive!).Since we don't know where were they that time,Me and my other friend decided not to enter and just waited for them and had non-stop photo-op session at the entrance and look for a place for our lunch outside the palace grounds.

Pier, we took the Chao Praya Express and alighted at Station #4. Sad to say it’s
already closed.We just did photo session outside and went to our next
destination)
-Chatuchak Market (from Wat Traimit we walked going to their
MRT (Hua Lamphong station and alighted at Kamphaeng Phet Station)
- It is
like Divisoria in the Philippines, for those shopaholics and wanting souvenir
apparels etc.This is your place the other one is Pratanam Market.
By 8pm,left Chatuchak and took a cab to Khao San Rd. Booked
ourselves an airport transfer from our “Suki” Travel Agency and by 915pm, We were picked up and Bye
Khao San Rd.
Suvarnabhumi Airport (45 to 1 Hour from Bangkok Downtown/Mind the
Bangkok Traffic)
-Other
mode of transportation to Suvarnabhumi Airport (Airport Transfer/Cab/Train)
-Long
queues during Checking in and 5X long at the Immigration ( Whew! Yeah! One of
the Busiest Airports)
-Very
modern airport. I envy them compared to our Airport and we didn’t pay
anything (Terminal Fee/ Travel Tax and other fees)

By 1AM, Bid goodbye to Thailand/ 3 Hours Flight/ Thailand is
one hour behind the Philippines
That was our Amazing Race Trip/ 6 Days/ 3 Countries/
Sleepless Nights. What an Adventure! Til my next trip.
