Visiting Silay City

Region 6, I’m back! (Silay-Murcia-Bacolod-Iloilo Visit minus Guimaras)

Day I: Silay -Murcia  

NAIA Terminal III (Manila)- New Bacolod-Silay Airport
                -We walked outside the airport grounds and a tricycle ride to Silay City Proper (P20 per person).
                -At Silay City, we first look for the City Hall (I'm sure they can help us as 1st timers in this area and they directed us to their Local Tourism Office which is exactly opposite. We got maps,brochures and etc.

Started with our walking tour:
Visited Balay Negrense, Cinco de Noviembre Marker,San Pedro Church and we had snacks at El Ideal (a must try resto in Silay).There are a lot of things to do in Silay but due to our limited time we just visited the spots within the area.

                -From Silay, we took a jeepney ride to Bata Terminal ( jeepney terminals going to Bacolod proper and etc..).Since our next destination is Mambukal Resort in the town of Murcia.From Bata terminal,we took another jeepney bound to Libertad Market in Bacolod (where the terminal to Mambukal is located)

By 4pm, Arrived at Mambukal Resort.Hello Again! Checked in for an overnight stay on one of their LGU cottages, strolled, reminisced,dinner at the restaurant nearby our cottage,had massage at Blade Spa  and contacted our local guide from last year’s and capping the day with a booze night.
